The solenoid valve is used to for controlling water flow from a pressurized system such as an RO/DI unit. This solenoid valve is normally closed meaning the valve is only open (allowing water to flow) when the unit is powered. The solenoid valve comes with pre-installed 1/4" John Guest Speed-Fit connectors and an AC power cord. The power cord connects to the valve using 1/4" insulated spade connectors. For automatic water level applications, use the solenoid valve in conjunction with our Aquarium Level Controller. This is a general purpose AC solenoid valve and can be used for non-aquarium uses.
